IntimaLase® is a unique Er:YAG laser therapy for incisionless, non-invasive photothermal tightening of the vaginal canal. Clinical studies have shown that IntimaLase is an efficient, easy-to-perform, and safe procedure.
The indication for IntimaLase is vaginal relaxation syndrome, which is the loss of the optimum structural form of the vagina. This condition is generally associated with overstretching of the vaginal canal during childbirth as well as with natural aging.
How does IntimaLase® work?
Fotona’s 2940 nm Er:YAG non-ablative laser with proprietary “Smooth-mode” technology thermally affects the vaginal tissue, stimulating collagen remodeling and the synthesis of new collagen fibers in the vaginal mucosa tissue and collagen-rich endopelvic fascia.
The final result of collagen neogenesis and remodeling is tightening of the vaginal canal.
Unique advantages of IntimaLase® for your patients
As a non-ablative, minimally invasive procedure with Er:YAG, IntimaLase™ also represents a safer, faster and more patient-friendly solution that avoids the undesirable complications present with other vaginal tightening methods.
Clinical results show a tightened vaginal canal, greater sexual satisfaction and significant improvement in a patient’s quality of life.
Impressive results with Prolapselase and Incontilase vaginal laser treatments.
Our patients have been amazed at the results of IncontiLase and ProlapseLase
Some comments ” One week after my vaginal procedure I realized that I can go shopping without having to find the bathroom! Such freedom! I feel lighter and younger. I am going to tell all of my friends about this simple, painless office procedure with no down time.
I am planning on having another treatment in a month or so- if I got this much benefit out of one treatment I wonder just how good it can get?”
“I could not get through an exercise class without losing urine or stopping to visit the restroom. Two weeks after my vaginal laser I was able to make it through the class! Even the instructor commented that it was the first time I stayed through the whole session.”
” I feel tighter and I am enjoying sex more after one treatment. My husband noticed the difference almost immediately.”
IncontiLase Is a unique non-invasive laser therapy for incontinence. The laser causes shrinkage of the anterior vaginal wall as well as collagen neogenesis and remodeling. This results in the return of normal continence function. It is a well tolerated 10 minute treatment that is performed in the office. There is no down time. The regimen consists of 1-3 treatments, depending on the severity of the incontinence.
ProlapseLase is usually performed along with IncontiLase. It is recommended for patients who have pelvic organ prolapse due to childbirth. The gentle photothermal effects of the laser tighten and contract the vaginal canal. Again, this is done as an in-office procedure with no down time. Generally patients require 3-4 treatments for resolution of the prolapse.
Included in the above 2 treatments is a laser of the labia and vestibule of the vagina, which reverses that “open” feeling that women often complain about.
